Launched in 2021, AshWorks Artisanal Luxuries is about making your home your sanctuary; a place for family and friends to gather; a setting for invoking special memories and creating new traditions. Allow me to bring a little of the world to you!
I started importing baubles in 2016, under the name of Bullarum South Africa, after moving to South Africa and yearning for the traditional Christmas decorations of Europe which are collected and handed down from generation to generation.
These beautiful baubles are sourced from bespoke, age old glass blowing companies located in Czech Republic, Germany, Poland and Egypt – all hand blown and hand decorated.
Traditions are very important to me and, in today’s world of mass production, I believe that each bauble is special as it is made with love which translates into each one being unique and beautiful.
Along with the rebranding in 2021, and after encouragement from my family, I began my candle journey which evolved out of my love for a fragrant home and a passion for travel. My fragrances are inspired by places I have been, memories I cherish and destinations still on my bucket list!
And just a little bit of useless information – my name is Ashley and I work hence the name AshWorks!
